Come and play modern board games, Euro games, and card games. Feel free to bring games or just come as you are and play with other people who love board games. All skill levels are welcome and there will be some people there open to teaching you the game as we go. From Ticket to Ride to Heavy Eurostyle Games and even some party games and family friend titles. Bring a game or just come and play some games brought by other members of the group. There is no hard out so if the games go a little long that's ok.
Have a fun night out playing board and card games with our group. Volunteers will host tables featuring a variety of games. No prior knowledge of the games are needed, just your interest in having fun and learning new games. Optionally, you can bring a game you love to teach and play. The games vary by host but it has ranged from traditional games like Rack-o, to party games to word games, to modern Euro games like Catan and Wingspan. The library also has games you can borrow to play. While many games have a competitive feel to them, this group strives to be open and friendly. No matter who is winning or losing, we are all here to have fun. Note that you should aim to arrive close to the start time or even a little early; if you're late the game tables may have formed already and it could be difficult to find a seat.
